The 31st International Meeting on Advanced Spine Techniques (IMAST) will offer an in-person meeting experience, in San Diego, CA, where leading spine surgeons, innovative researchers, and the most advanced spine technologies come together in an international forum to demonstrate and discuss recent advances in spine surgery. IMAST focuses on innovative and new methods/techniques for spinal pathology. 58th Annual Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) Annual Meeting

The 58th Annual Meeting features an information-packed discussion on research and practice improvements in spinal deformity care in the company of our colleagues and friends. A “can’t miss” session is the pre-meeting course on Wednesday, a Global Perspective on Spinal Deformity Care. Topics in this session include Diversity in Spinal Deformity Surgery, Impact of Scoliosis Around the World and Regional Variations in Scoliosis Surgery. Thursday’s Harrington Lecture features Oheneba Boachie-Adjei, MD, DSc, the President and Founder of the Foundation of Orthopedics and Complex Spine (FOCOS). Other highlights include the industry workshops on Thursday. Each workshop is programmed by a single-supporting company and features presentations on topics and technologies selected by the company. You will learn about the different surgical and non-surgical procedures available and receive in-depth information about all aspects of care from patient intake to recovery. This session, which is hosted by internationally renowned spine specialists Lawrence Lenke, MD, Ronald Lehman, MD, and Peter Angevine, MD, is aimed at helping to allay your fears and help you address pain and discomfort in an appropriate-for-you way. Our expertly trained physician assistants, nurses, physical therapists, and rehabilitation medicine doctors will be on-hand to answer any questions or to help schedule a future consultation. You will get to hear from former patients about their personal experiences living with spinal deformities and receiving treatment at the NewYork-Presbyterian Och Spine Hospital.

IMAST gathers leading spine surgeons, innovative researchers and the most advanced spine technologies in an international forum. The IMAST program focuses on innovative and new methods/techniques for spinal pathology beyond deformity and is divided equally between adult deformity, pediatric deformity, degenerative lumbar and cervical pathology. Educational sessions include didactic presentations, panel discussions, papers and e-posters on current research, roundtable case discussions, debates, complication series and instructional course lectures, all lead by an international and multidisciplinary faculty. IMAST is sponsored by the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS).
