Dr. Lenke and Colleagues win prestigious Whitecloud Award
Dr. Lenke and Colleagues win prestigious Whitecloud Award at the 23rd annual IMAST meeting held on July 14-16 in Washington D.C. for the top clinical research paper presented at this meeting sponsored by the Scoliosis Research Society. Their paper entitled: The Incidence of Proximal Junctional Kyphosis in Patients with Adult Spinal Deformity Fused to the Pelvis: A ScoliRisk-1 Subanalysis, is another in a series of award-winning papers resulting from the monumental Scoli-Risk 1 study of Complex Adult Spinal Deformity which enrolled 272 patients from 15 spinal deformity centers around the world.
Sponsored by AOSpine International and the Scoliosis Research Society, Dr. Lenke functioned as the Principal Investigator and also contributed the most patients to the study, thus leading the effort of over 50 spinal surgeons globally who participated in this study.
